What is Universal+?
Universal+ is a video-on-demand platform that is due to make its debut in France before the end of this year. Although Universal+ was launched in France on November 17, 2022, the platform is not yet available to everyone.

Today, the VOD platform Universal+ has only signed a partnership contract with the operator SFR, so that only those who have subscribed to the internet offers of SFR or to the “RED Box of RED by SFR” will be able to subscribe.

Where to watch Universal+?
The platform has already appeared in Latin America: Brazil, Mexico and Chile, but also in Europe: Spain, Switzerland, Portugal and in the rest of the world, in India and Africa, that is to say 35 million households.
The new launch of Universal+ expected for the end of the year will extend the platform’s presence to 43 territories.
What does Universal+ offer? What are the differences with other vod platforms?
The strength of this new platform is that it offers access to a multitude of different channels: Syfy, Dreamworks, the flagship channel dedicated to children, E! and 13th Street. The idea of Universal+ is to offer access to “exclusive TV channels” as well as a vast catalog of series and videos, and all the content it offers is available in streaming, so you won’t need to download each content to watch them: universal+ works like other vod platforms.

Universal+ subscribers will also be able to watch original series such as I Killed My Husband, Internal Kitchen, King Julian, Where’s Charlie, The Adventures of Puss in Boots, etc. Subscribers will of course have access to the full series of Universal+’s hits, such as The Incredible Kardashian Family, The Outpost and Coroner.

How do I subscribe to Universal+?
To subscribe to Universal+ on your TV, you’ll have to see how things are going beyond our borders, as the platform has not yet been launched in France.
