Sharing Duolingo is easy.

Would you like your children to discover a new language? Give them the desire to learn and progress in a foreign language, without them experiencing it as a constraint?
It’s possible, with the Duolingo application launched in 2012 and accessible on all media, PC, Android and iOS.
With Duolingo, you will be able to progress in nearly 40 languages through an addictive and fun teaching program, since it borrows an interface and concepts similar to video game apps such as “Candy Crush” to name but one.

duolingo home screen with the different levels

The principle is simple, you go through a course in which the lessons are presented as levels to be crossed to gain and accumulate experience points.
The user has a number of “lives” at his disposal, which regenerate over time, so there is an incentive to return daily to achieve an ever greater goal.

Although the Duolingo application is free, the subscription is nonetheless interesting since it allows users to benefit from additional advantages, including the possibility of reducing fees.

Duolingo offers.

The language learning application offers 2 subscription packages with roughly the same benefits:

different subscriptions available on duolingo
  • The “Super” offer at 7.34 €/month which removes advertising and gives an unlimited number of lives, for a use of the application without constraint.
  • The “Super Duolingo Family” offer at 10.25 €/month which adds the possibility to create a group of 2 to 6 people.

It is this second formula that interests us, because by sharing your subscription with 5 other users, you can mutualize the cost of the offer in such a way that you will reduce the monthly payment to only 2 €/month.

A bargain, as it represents a little more than 60 € of savings per year.
Not only is sharing your Duolingo account profitable, but it’s also relatively easy to set up.

The Duolingo Company

Luis Von Ahn and Severin Hacker began developing Duolingo in November 2011.
Originally conceived as an online translation application, the Duolingo project has gradually become a language learning tool.
The tool is based on the notion of massive collaboration between users who, by learning a foreign language, contribute to enrich the platform with their own knowledge in their native language.
An effective model, because with 300 million users worldwide and nearly 40 languages available, Duolingo is now the leader in the online language learning market.
