Buyer Protection Program
At Sharesub, we want buyers to be able to take part in group subscriptions in a safe way: for every transaction, you always have co-subscriber protection, and we ensure smooth operation or reimbursement.
Securing funds
Once your payment card has been verified, your money is held securely in an escrow account until the end of the current month. Your money will only be passed on to the subscription owner once the subscription month has passed without a hitch.
Secure exchanges
As soon as the transaction has been validated, you’ll be given access to the subscription and to the information the organizer has provided to allow you access. If that’s not enough, or if the organizer needs to invite you to the group manually, you can use a secure, moderated messaging system to communicate with him or her. All this enables our team to carry out a thorough check and keep a record of all the events.
Quick and easy refunds
If the subscription does not work, or in the event of a problem not resolved by the owner within 24 hours, you can open a complaint: our team will then carry out the necessary checks and may refund you or cancel your participation free of charge if necessary.
We will refund you, in accordance with our terms of use, if your :
- does not work,
- is no longer working and you have no answer from the owner,
- does not conform to its description
- or if subscription access information is not transmitted
Simply click on “Claim & Refund” within 48 hours of purchasing the subscription on the subscription page. Or as soon as you detect that the subscription is no longer working, if it’s already active.
Priority resubscription
If your subscription is terminated due to a complaint validated by our moderation team, or following the termination of the subscription by the organizer, you benefit from automatic priority re-subscription to an identical subscription.
➡️ This means that, in the cases mentioned above, you will be automatically re-subscribed to a new group at the same rate first. This avoids waiting lists and manual re-subscription. However, you can deactivate this feature if you prefer to do it manually.
Precautions and best practices
Don’t buy identical subscriptions while waiting for a subscription owner to respond: once you place an order, you are committed for the current month if the subscription works well.
Be careful when someone asks you for or sends you a phone number or e-mail. In the platform, we guarantee the security of your exchanges, which is why we advise you to stay on the message board to chat and use the Sharesub secure payment system for your transactions. If you have a problem with the subscription and the exchanges have not taken place on the Sharesub secure chat, we will not be able to activate the buyer protection described above.
