Microsoft offers 2 main subscriptions:
- GAME PASS ULTIMATE from €14.99 per month with the first 3 months at €1. This subscription will give you access to 100 games available on console, PC or Android device, access to games as they are released and discounts and offers on your games. The Xbox Live Gold subscription is included in ULTIMATE to allow you to play in multiplayer mode with the accompanying EA Play to have access to Electronic Arts games. 12 month commitment.
- XBOX LIVE GOLD from around €6.99 for a monthly subscription and €50 for a 6-month subscription. The prices we have just quoted are the prices that will soon be displayed for the moment the 1 month subscription is € 6.99 and € 59.99 the annual subscription. Microsoft’s goal is to move customers from this subscription to ULTIMATE. XBOX LIVE GOLD allows you to play in multiplayer mode, to have 2 free games per month and discounts on games.
On how many devices can I use an account?
Whatever your formula, you can only share your account on 2 different Xbox consoles. You can only share it with one person.

How to share your Xbox account?
Console A will be the Xbox of the person who paid the subscription and console B will be the Xbox on which you want to share the games and the subscription.
Console A :
- Press the “Xbox guide” (middle button on the controller)
- Go to “Connect”.
- Go to “Profile and System”.
- Press “Add or Toggle”.
- Add a new item (at the bottom of this menu)
- Enter the username and password of your loved one (then next)
- Login to your loved one’s account
- Press the “Xbox guide” (middle button on the controller)
- Confirm settings (General 🡪 Customization)
- Go to my main Xbox and make it my main Xbox
Log back into your account and you will no longer need to log into your loved one’s account.

Console B:
The steps are exactly the same but you have to connect your account to your console. This is not a mandatory thing to do in order to share an Xbox Live subscription, for example, or to share a game for free with a friend. You must do this from one console to another depending on what you want to share with your friend. One of the two people must already have a subscription on their Xbox One for example.
To download the games, you must go to the store and download the games for free after sharing your Xbox account. If your friend has a Game Pass, ULTIMATE or Xbox Live Gold subscription, then you can benefit from it too.
